Our conscious mind is anchored in materiality while our unconscious mind is also attached to the spiritual world. Imagine you are driving a car in a town you have never been before; your conscious mind is working using your physical senses, looking, listening to your guide on the sat-nav. There is traffic rushing all around you as most of the other drivers are familiar with their surroundings; your phone begins to ring; do you answer the phone or continue using all your concentration on your driving? (This is your cognitive thinking mind). Suddenly a child runs into the road in front of you; you automatically press the brake, and take your right foot of the accelerator and press the clutch peddle, this reaction was an automatic response, programmed into your unconscious mind; it would have been very hard to have stopped your response! When things become conditioned responses, like pressing the car’s break peddle, they often take time to reprogram. I remember when I first drove an automatic car with no clutch or gear stick; I had to pull my left leg back and away from the non existent clutch peddle as that conditioned response kept moving my foot. I had to be persistent and keep saying ‘NO' to myself for a few weeks until the conditioned response stopped, and soon it did. If spirit come into your space you say ‘NO' and change that old habit; every time you engage in communication with negative spirit, such as arguing, debating, trying to reason with them
‘YOU ARE REINFORCING THEIR CONTROL OVER YOU!’
One word ‘NO' and divert your attention onto something else, and if there is nothing else, put your mind onto reinforcing the light around yourself which is your security for your own personal space. That is a use for prayer beads; they take your attention to a better place; this is cognitive spiritual protection. Be persistent and take your attention to other positive area's in your life; if you say ‘NO' enough times the salesman will realize he is wasting his time and stop coming.
